Terms of Service

These Terms of Service apply to the SetGrip app for iPhone and Apple Watch and the setgrip.app website, provided by Linas Nutautas (“we”, “us” or “our”). Please read them before using SetGrip. By using the service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use it.

Using SetGrip

SetGrip helps you create routines, log workouts, use rest timers, review records and follow your progress. It does not require a SetGrip account. Some features require a compatible Apple device, permission to use Apple Health, an internet connection, iCloud or a Premium purchase. Availability may vary by device, operating system and app version.

Apps downloaded through the App Store are also subject to the applicable Apple terms and license agreement. Unless a custom license agreement is provided with the app, Apple's Standard End User License Agreement applies. These Terms supplement that agreement and do not replace its applicable license conditions.

Premium purchases and subscriptions

SetGrip offers free features and optional Premium access through in-app purchases. The purchase screen shows the available plans, features, billing period, price and any trial before you confirm. Apple processes payments through your App Store account. Prices and offers can vary by country and may change for future purchases or renewals under Apple's applicable rules.

Monthly and yearly subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Your Apple account may be charged for renewal within the 24 hours before that period ends. If you accept a free trial, it converts to the displayed paid subscription unless you cancel in time. Trial eligibility and any unused trial period are governed by the offer and Apple's purchase terms.

You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple account's subscription settings. Deleting SetGrip or its workout data does not cancel billing. A lifetime option, when offered, is a one-time purchase of Premium access rather than an auto-renewing subscription; it does not promise that the app, every feature or third-party service will remain available indefinitely.

Use Restore Purchases in the app with the Apple account used for the original purchase to restore eligible access. Refund requests for App Store purchases are handled by Apple through Report a Problem. Nothing here limits refund or other consumer rights provided by applicable law.

Workout and health information

Exercise demonstrations, instructions, suggested training methods, estimated one-repetition maximums, calories, statistics and other content are provided for general information. SetGrip is not a medical device, medical advice or a substitute for a qualified healthcare professional or trainer. Measurements and estimates may be incomplete or inaccurate, and no particular fitness result is guaranteed.

Choose exercises, equipment and loads appropriate to your ability and health. Seek professional advice when needed, especially if you have an injury, a medical condition or uncertainty about an exercise. Stop exercising if you experience pain or feel unwell.

Your data

You retain ownership of the workout information you enter. Routines and history are stored on your device and can sync through your private iCloud database. We cannot access that database. Keep your devices and Apple account secure and maintain appropriate backups. Synchronization depends on your devices, connection and Apple's services.

You can export completed workout history as CSV or JSON and delete routines and workout history from Settings. An export is not a complete backup of all app data. Data handling, third-party services and deletion limits are explained in our Privacy & Cookie Policy.

Acceptable use and feedback

Use SetGrip lawfully and respect other people's rights. Do not disrupt the service, introduce malicious software, bypass access restrictions, impersonate others, collect other users' personal information or submit unlawful, abusive or infringing material. Do not reverse engineer the app except where applicable law or an open-source license permits it.

Feature requests may be shared on the in-app feedback board. Submit only content you have the right to share and avoid sensitive personal information. By submitting a request, you allow us to display and use it to operate the board and improve SetGrip. A request or vote does not guarantee that a feature will be built.

Intellectual property

The app, website, branding, exercise media and other supplied content belong to Linas Nutautasor their respective licensors. Using SetGrip does not transfer those rights to you. Do not redistribute, sell or reuse protected material without permission unless applicable law or a relevant license allows it. Ordinary linking to the website and search-engine indexing in accordance with the website's crawl instructions are permitted.

Third-party services

SetGrip works with Apple services and uses providers such as RevenueCat for purchases, TelemetryDeck for app usage analytics and WishKit for feedback. The website also links to external resources. Those services have their own terms and privacy policies. Their availability and operation are outside our control; see our Privacy Policy for details about the information they process.

Availability and liability

To the extent permitted by law, SetGrip and its content are provided “as is” and “as available”, without a guarantee of uninterrupted operation, accuracy or suitability for a particular purpose. We may update features and supported devices as the service evolves. This does not remove obligations relating to purchases or rights you have under applicable law.

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses arising from use of the service. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for fraud or personal injury caused by negligence where applicable, or limits your mandatory consumer rights.

Changes and applicable law

We may revise these Terms to reflect changes in the service or legal requirements and will update the date above. Material changes will be communicated as required by law. You retain the protection of the mandatory consumer laws and access to the courts available to you in your country of residence.
